Scot Crow is a Member in Dickinson Wright’s Columbus office. He is the Practice Department Manager for the firm’s Corporate, M&A, Private Equity, Securities and Tax practices and is also the head of the Cannabis Group, which consists over roughly 40+ attorneys throughout the U.S. and Canada. He has extensive experience in corporate, mergers and acquisitions and tax law and has served as lead counsel in mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, private offerings, venture capital financings, mezzanine debt offerings, divestitures, and other related financial transactions, in a number of industry sectors, including the cannabis industry, where he has assisted client’s throughout the U.S. in the design, build and aggregation of multi-state scalable vertically integrated operations (cultivation, production and sales), the formation of private funds focused on various sectors of the cannabis industry, and served as outside legal counsel with respect to the day to day operations of those operating either directly or indirectly (as a supplier of goods or services) within the cannabis industry. Scot is a member of the Legal and Banking subcommittee for the National Cannabis Industry Association is recognized as a leader in his field by Best Lawyers in America. Scot received his B.S. from Franciscan University, his J.D. from Capital University Law School, and his LL.M. in Taxation from Capital University.
